Over the weekend I visited Culbertson High School graduation and attended a branding out at Granley's. I took my camera for the branding and had a good time, including my first run with Rocky Mountain Oysters- they weren't so bad, but it's not something I think I'll ever be craving! Next weekend is Traeger's branding, so I hope to take some more pictures there. I love cowboy pictures.
Bronc had his first run with Oysters as well. He didn't like them so much
Taylor was such a champ! She moved to Bainville from Washington in the middle of the Spring semester. Her cousin Luke is the one in the white hat. Luke has cowboy blood running through his veins, so when Taylor came to live here, she had no excuses for being a sissy. She told me she wanted to do this, so I showed her what to do and she jumped right in. She did great!
Tyler was one of the ropers that day. I took this picture and thought it was kinda cool. Though I did do a fancy focus on Tyler, the fuzziness was already there on the other horses that were tied up because that rope there is connected to a calf that is being branded.
