I just love photographing babies! They are difficult to photograph because they are unpredictable. You tell a grown person to sit and smile, and they likely will. But like pets, children and especially babies don't listen and are impatient when waiting for the flash and shutter. I don't think they understand why that weird thing is in front of that persons face.


This baby is fun. She is rarely without a smile on her cute little face (though I think Mama & Papa may beg to differ!) I caught this shot while we were all at a friends wedding this past July. Her eyes are beautiful and I just love this little summer outfit. I like this shot as the face of the year.

I also had the pleasure of taking some fun Christmas shots with her, and I still hear her little screaming laugh every time I look at one of the photos. She makes me smile, and I can't wait for her little brother or sister to be born in May to see how she will react.
